Your conveyancer will then go on a grand to make sure your property is free from any encumbrances, such as mortgages, liens or convenants. A title check is also done so the property can be transferred to you upon settlement.

This is the moment you’ve been waiting for, settlement! Your conveyancer will make sure all the necessary documents are signed, the transfer is registered with eh Queensland Land Title Office and any outstanding debts (such as rates or water) are settled.
